I met Shirley at the start line area of this past fall’s New York City Marathon.  Since that day, we’ve forged a great friendship.  She is rallying up some friends for an upcoming half marathon in Sept.  I’m in.  We’ll start training soon.  For now, I’ll leave you with an inspiring quote that she just posted:
