Health Food Kick.

Since the race I have allowed myself to eat whatever/whenever, which is nice to a point; however even this gluttony needs a finish line!  This is the moment I’ve decided that I’d like to reign it in with a healthy eating regime.  Day #1 starts tomorrow.  At the gym tonight I stayed on the Precor for an hour and a 1/2.  Post training periods of time can be filled with as much or little routine as you choose.  It is sometimes difficult to adjust to the way your body is no longer clocking in so many miles and therefore burning that many extra calories.  For the past week it was fun to not care but now I’m ready to get back on the wagon!  Will you join me?  Post any healthy recipe ideas that you enjoy and work for you.  I’d like to try at least 2 new recipes each week for the rest of this month and post them for you, too.  I will also let you know what healthy snacks that I come up with to replace some of the processed foods that I’ve gotten into the habit of reaching for (Doritos, you know who you are..!!)  Time for bed.  Sweet dreams of carrots and apples…and peppers..and grapefruit..and…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
